The Board ensures that the SANBS remunerates fairly, responsibly and transparently to promote the achievement of strategic objectives and positive outcomes in the short, medium and long term.

  • Implementation delegated to HR Executive via the CEO
  • Non-Executive Director Remuneration Policy
  • A Human Resources and Remuneration Committee (HR and Remco) to ensure fair, responsible and transparent remuneration practices
  •  Quarterly remuneration reporting to HR & Remco
  • Remuneration Benchmarking
  • Approval of NED fees by Council
