Our story begins way back in 2001 when blood banks around the country were consolidated and the SANBS was formed. Today we look back with pride on what we have accomplished by our strong focus on people care and safety, quality, sheer determination and resilience.
It is through the invaluable contributions of our dedicated donors, our heroes that are our staff and our loyal partners that SANBS has triumphed and overcome extreme challenges.
